València Style Roasted Chicken with Oranges And Lemons


Valencia is the third (3rd) largest City in Spain. Valencia Cuisine is Mediterranean Cuisine. They are famous for their rice dishes such as their paella and their orange inspired dishes.



1 Free Range Whole Chicken
2 Oranges Seedless
1 Lemon
1 tsp. Pink Himalayan Salt
2 tsp. Black Pepper
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
2 Tbsp. of Butter
6-8 bulbs of Garlic (Crushed)


Preheat your oven to 400 degree F. Season Chicken well with Salt and Pepper. Base your Roasting Pan with 1 tsp. Olive Oil. Then place your Chicken in the Roasting Pan along with your washed and sliced Orange pieces. (Don’t Peel Oranges) Place your pan in the oven and Roast your chicken for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Half-way through your roasting time turn your Chicken over the other side so it can receive even cooking then add your butter. Your chicken should have nice golden colour similar to the image displayed. Enjoy your chicken with the Cheesy Baked Rice. (See Recipe on this Blog).
