There are seven (7) gifts of the Holy Spirit here are (3) of them worth learning and remembering:
Fortitude (Courage): With the gift of fortitude/courage, we overcome our fear and are willing to take risks as a follower of Jesus Christ. A person with courage is willing to stand up for what is right in the sight of God, even if it means accepting rejection, verbal abuse, or even physical harm and death. The gift of courage allows people the firmness of mind that is required both in doing good and in enduring evil, especially with regard to the goods or the evils that are difficult, just like Joan of Arc did. (Joan of Arc is considered a national heroine of France and a Catholic saint.
Counsel (Right Judgment): With the gift of counsel/right judgment, we know the difference between right and wrong, and we choose to do what is right. A person with right judgment avoids sin and lives out the values taught by God and Jesus. The gift of truth that allows the person to respond prudently, and happily to believe our Christ the Lord.
Piety (Reverence): With the gift of reverence, sometimes called piety, we have a deep sense of respect for God and the church. A person with reverence recognizes our total reliance on God and comes before God with humility, trust, and love. Piety is the gift whereby, at the Holy Spirit’s instigation, we pay worship and duty to God as our Father.

In my last blog post, I remember discussing the fact that I was just frustrated and fed up with the long delays and opposition I have been having for over 1 year now the minute I decided to end my 17 year marriage and move on with my life “Can you believe it?” Over 1 year now. I know, my blog readers probably don’t believe me or don’t have a clue about what I am talking about when I say the word opposition—but I am telling you the truth, I say it sometimes and I can’t even believe it myself. One year is a long time, a long time. I was just saying last week in my blog post that “enough is enough.”
I don’t deserve to have this in my life. It’s like I feel this negative energy like someone or something is trying to stop me from moving forward. You have to be in my shoes to know what I am talking about. Here is the real deal, the fact that this is happening to me tells me without any doubts or reservations that me moving forward with my life is a really, really good thing. The same thing happened to me when my Grandmother tried to help me to live a better life. The very same thing, but she never gave up on me because she knew she was making the right decision in helping me. God don’t need to question her about her decision not only did she do what was right but she followed her heart. I am so happy she did, God bless her.
Last Saturday, I posted that song by Mary, Mary “Survive” (see song below great song) which is so “poignant and surreal” for me. I was singing and dancing to that song not knowing that the next day the Sunday someone was going to make an offer on my home. It’s amazing! It’s as if God was sending me a message through the song, “isn’t that great?” He was saying, “You made it baby girl, you made it.” Well, God was listening and “oh, have I been praying, oh my lord.” So, God heard me, of course I had no doubt at all that he could hear me and he said, “I can hear you girl, I can hear you.” He was working on what I had asked for because my house that was listed on the market has been SOLD.
Halleluiah! Halleluiah! Halleluiah! Oh, my gosh! After been on the market for just 3wks & 4dys it’s sold. I did so much work in trying to get it market ready it’s unbelievable, but someone loved it like I do and have purchased it, good for them they will be getting a nice little place to call home. I am happy it got sold, but now I am “Homeless,” so to speak, oh, my, gosh! I will have to find myself an apartment for me and my two wonderful children, somewhere safe and clean, that will be important. I have started to do my search and it’s proving to be a difficult search already because finding apartments in a small town like where I live that is safe and clean is very challenging.
I will need to find an apartment in another nearby town not in my current town. Anyway, the buyers of my home wanted me to move out pronto, they wanted me to move out in 1 month, but that was not realistic of them. I ask the agent “are these people on drugs or something?” Anyway, I got the time I needed I will be moving out in 3mths, by the 2nd week in November I will have to be out of here. Wow! What a journey, I feel so liberated though, I feel like I have just discovered how to walk, just like a baby learning for the first time.
So, after all is said and done, me and my two wonderful children will be living on our own for the first time. It will be just basically 1 month before Christmas and before my birthday. I can’t complain though I am happy all this will be over before the winter kicks in again. I can call this a early birthday gift from God. Yes, he heard me loud and clear. Thank you God for your blessings.
One of the many things I have learnt from life over the years is that, it is always important no matter how difficult life gets to act with “Grace and Humility.” Been grateful for the small things as well as the big things in life. Always do what is “Right, Just, Ethical and Fair,” even if what you have to do hurts or others around you feel it’s unfair to them—in the long run you end up living a happier more fulfilling life knowing full well you acted in the way God wanted you to act or you made the “Right Decision—One that God favours.” Many people in society today, always want others to be honest with them and do what is “Right, Just, Ethical and Fair,” but you will find that they say this and it feels like they are “Mocking God.” Why? They want others to behave that way but ask them to do the Right thing or make the Right decision one that God would uphold and they don’t want to do it.
Jesus said, "Do not tell lies! Do not do what you hate, for all things are obvious in the sight of Heaven. Nothing hidden will not become manifest, and nothing covered will remain without being uncovered." The Gospel of Saint Thomas.
Like I have mentioned many times on my blog to my readers for those who believe in spirituality, faith,God and Jesus. Don’t fool yourselves into believing that “God doesn’t hear and see us.” Ever since God appeared to me at 9 yrs.old I realize then and there at that age that God would always be watching me. I didn’t need to ask anyone if God was watching me, I knew without any doubts or reservations that he would always be keeping an eye on me. Trust me when I say, he watches us all the time, when we behave good he sees us and when we get on really bad and turn our back on him or we don’t follow his rules—the way he expects us to behave he knows.
I always say to people when you look back on your life a few years from now you want to look back and see that you acted in the right way. That you lived your life in such a way that you have no “Regrets.” I am moving on to a new life, yes, “am I scared about been on my own with my two children for the first time?” You bet I am, I am terrified actually who wouldn’t be but I am also happy that when I look back years from now I won’t be one of those women living with “Regrets.” Saying to myself why didn’t I move on with my life when I had the chance. When God opened the door for me and gave me the opportunity and said, “It’s time to leave young lady, why didn’t I take the chance?” I have a lot of love to give and a whole lot of life left in me…so, I am ready for the next chapter of my life to unfold. No one should have to live with “Regrets.” I have said this on my blog before. People who live with regrets end up not leading a very happy life, because they are filled with so many regrets I don’t wish that for anyone or myself.
People who hurt us in the worst way
When someone male or female stands in our way and cause us alot of opposition or create alot of strife and quarrels in our lives, let me tell you without any doubts or reservations that these people “do not have your best interest at heart and you should avoid them if you can or if your in a relationship with someone like this I suggest you move on with your life.” They will say they love you but they don’t it’s “FALSE.” For one, it says they are selfish, and they don’t care whether you are hurting inside or not. They don’t care if you end up in a bad position or not, if you end up living on the street (if this is a relationship problem) they couldn’t care less what happen to you. At first yes, they appreciate you and want you, then they “Turn against the same person they told everyone they profess their undying love for.”
That’s how you identify people who offers “False Love.” At first they act like they can’t live without the person, they pretend to love them and adore them with all their heart and soul. However, the minute you don’t bow to their expectations and do what they want or give them what they ask for, then I call it the “False Love Syndrome.” They only love you when everything is going their way and the minute you make any changes to their perfect plans they now “Turn against you and become your worst enemy.” The person who carries “FALSE LOVE” for you will have no Loyalty towards you, No Loyalty so remember that as you go through life.
They will turn against you the minute you make a mistake or you don’t bow to their wishes they drop you in a heartbeat. The people who care about you or who really loves you will be Loyal to you. They will not abandon you even if you made a mistake or you didn’t comply to something they want. When the person really loves you they will stick by you because their only motivation is Love not for the need of wanting something from the person—their only motivating force is “Pure Love.”. “That is how you know if someone really truly Loves you.”
This person now as an adult now becomes like a “Spoilt Child” if they didn’t get what they wanted they become temperamental, they moan and bemoan and create endless challenges and make a mountain out of a mole hill, they find all the reasons in the world for you to give them what they want even if it means it will make everyone unhappy they don’t care. An Adult person who causes opposition in our lives I consider them to be someone similar to a person who abuses alcohol. Why? Well, people who drink alcohol and becomes drunk if you try to tell them to stop drinking because it is bad for them, “tell me what will happen?” They will become very defensive, angry, emotionally abusive, rude and sometimes become physically hostile to those who tell them to stop drinking. Well, the people who opposes us in life just like a alcoholic always, always “Find all the ways in the world to justify their destructive behaviour.” “Do you get what I am saying?” I am not trying to insult anyone I am just trying to show you how these people behave when they don’t get what they want.
They will always, Justify, Justify and Justify all their negative and mean behaviour. Then they will “bundle that same destructive behaviour into a neat little package” then turn around and show to their family, friends or associates that they are “the most loving, caring, compassionate, person that ever lived.” They will always try to prove to others that their motivating force is love, concern for humanity, and pity for the oppressed or the poor but in fact they don’t care. It is, “FALSE LOVE” that is been package like a “great once in a lifetime deal that is just smoke and mirrors, all designed to get them what they want—almost like a Magician’s Trick.” If you pay attention to those around you eventually you get to know peoples behaviour and then when you learn their behaviour they can’t trick you anymore, because the blind folds are off you can see them in full view. I hope what I have said will help you my blog readers with your own lives, because that is my only goal to make other peoples lives better. I can’t save everyone but I can save some, that’s what God would want me to do.

When You Need Hope and Joy in Your Heart
Lord, my hope is in You because I am Your child. Purify my heart and make me more like You each day so that I can become all You made me to be. Let hope rise up in my heart so powerfully that no matter what happens, I will not stumble; rather, I will look to You as the answer to all my needs. May Your hope and joy in my heart bring a peace, contentment, and wholeness that I have never dreamed possible.
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

This song by Bridget is so poetic. The first part where she sings of a Tornado coming in her room, speaks of when someone special comes into our lives and it’s unexpected and we had no idea they would have such a dramatic and special effect on our lives—but in a good way because they are the kind of people we can’t ever forget. For me it’s “Bright Eyes” Love this song….Enjoy.
