What is everyone doing out there this weekend? It’s a little warmer by the lake this weekend so it’s good for outdoor activities. For me it’s suppose to be a “Day of Fun and Relaxation,” In my dreams, oh, my, gosh! I barely get enough mommy me time around here. This weekend I will be doing some serious spring cleaning, getting rid of things I don’t need, donating what I have. Things like kids clothes that no longer fits, old magazines, old toys, just about anything I can donate. Every spring I try to do this and the house seems to feel a little lighter. So, to all my blog readers, whenever you plan to do your spring cleaning, don’t forget to donate and recycle whatever you have. If your in Canada, you can call “The Canadian Diabetes Association” 1-800-505-5525 http://www.diabetes.ca/get-involved/supporting-us/clothesline/ and they will come and pick up whatever you have to donate. They collect things like, pots and pans, small kitchen appliances, furniture, clothes, cell phones, but no baby items.
Today I would like to share something about my son Richard. He has a playmate next door that he plays with whenever he gets a chance she’s a beautiful little girl she has curly hair and she is blond. Yep! She is blond her mommy dyed her hair. Ever since he got older from 4 yrs old on, if he’s watching television or looking at magazines the girls have to be blond or he’s not usually interested.
Whatever she wants he says yes to everything, see how quietly he sits beside her, if he moves she follows, their like magnet,
too cute. Oh, my, gosh!
So, I popped the movie “She’s out of my league” in the DVD player, he came downstairs and saw the blond girl who stars in the movie on the screen and the first thing my 6 yr. old son said was, “WOW! WOW! when he saw the blond girl—Molly who stars in the movie. I couldn’t stop laughing, after that he said, “Mom come on play the movie,” I say listen, “this movie is not for you.” He got mad at me and said, “play the movie, hurry!” Just because he wants’ to see the blond girl in the movie. Apparently, people say boys gravitate towards girls who are similar to their moms. I am laughing as I write this. So if that’s the case, “What’s with the blond thing?” Do I look blond to this child? I don’t see no blonds around here, Oh, my, gosh! Lord help me. There is a little girl in his class called Katelyn who he likes very much and she is blond, I asked him, “what do you like about her?” He said, “she is fun and creative.” Interesting. I must be the other version of a blond, the “Caribbean blond” ahh..…….too funny. I am fun and creative but definately not blond. As soon as he sees a girl who is blond he gets excited. My son, too funny, too funny.
You Haven’t Changed A Bit
It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.
—-Alan Cohen
You Meet Someone you haven’t seen in years and she says, “You haven’t changed a bit.” Is that a compliment or a criticism? It depends what she is referring to.
If you fail to encourage change and growth in your life, perhaps you are afraid and prefer to remain in risk-free situations. The date changes everyday, and so should you. We all need to keep growing to make our lives meaningful and to stimulate our bodies with the will to live.
Someone who is living an unchanged life is not communicating a will to live but a boredom that will lead to illness. But those who remain open to new ideas and experiences are sending “live messages” to their body and spirit. All athletes know you need to be flexible to not injure yourself. So stretch your limits and reach out for what you were once afraid to attempt. Enlarge yourself and change your goals so that when you return for your fiftieth reunion, no one will tell you that you haven’t changed a bit.
Solution of the Day
Take a risk and step out of your familiar routine today.

Feel
Feel the pain, feel the joy, until you feel you’ll surely evaporate. Stop holding back from laughing with your belly, loving from the deepest places of your heart, swooning with the sensuality of life itself. Feel how good it feels to love another human—and if you’re lucky, to be loved in return. Feel the warmth inside you when you do the right thing. Feel the fire that’s ignited when someone tramples that which matters to you. Let your honest feelings come through, even the ones that make other people squirm. If you’re not truly feeling, you’re not truly alive—you’re just going through the motions and getting nothing in return.

When You Need to Remember Who You Are in Christ
Lord, Your creation itself tells me that You are real and You are great. Your eternal power and divine nature are clear to me when I look at the things You have made. Your existence becomes undeniable when I see what You have done in my life. I acknowledge You as my Creator who not only created me, but who is continuing to create in me a heart that will do Your will. Help me to always remember that because I am a child of the God of the universe, I have a destiny that is good.
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork.

Movie Watched This Weekend: “She’s Out of My League”
In Chronicling my journey on the single path for nearly a year now I have watched a few movies in the past and this week I picked “She’s Out of My League.” Starring Alice Eve coincidentally, we both have the same first name. I saw the Movie Trailer and thought it looked funny, and I needed a great laugh this weekend.

Alice Sophia Eve is 29 yrs.old and is an English actress. One interesting and unique fact about her is that Alice has different color eyes called(heterochromia), one eye is green and the other is blue.
On a personal note, you rarely hear the name “Alice” such a rare name. I don’t know why my mom gave me that name, maybe she did tell me and I forgot. I should ask her next time we talk. I hardly ever hear the name so it was nice to see I have company with Alice Sophia. I love her smile and she was great in the movie.
Jonathan Adam Saunders "Jay" Baruchel is a Canadian actor, he is 28 yrs.old He has had a successful career in comedy films, and has appeared in such box office successes as Million Dollar Baby, Knocked Up, Tropic Thunder, and How to Train Your Dragon, and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Baruchel was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, the son of Robyne (née Ropell), a freelance writer, and Serge Baruchel, an antiques dealer.
Storyline
Kirk is an average Joe who works as a TSA agent at the Pittsburgh airport with his friends. A lost cell phone brings together an airport security agent (Baruchel) and a successful, beautiful woman (Eve) and, against all normal odds, they fall in love. Now he has to figure out how to make the relationship work, even though he’d be the first to admit she’s totally out of his league. The status quo of his fairly monotonous life ends when he meets Molly (she’s a hard 10 and he is but a 5), Kirk knows there’s no way on earth she’s ever going to fall for him. Or is there…? Starring Alice Eve and Jay Baruchel.

The movie is in three words, funny, funny, funny. I couldn’t stopped laughing. I laughed so much I had tears in my eyes and I was coughing because I laughed so hard. The Lunch scene with the family was just funny. Lots of “F” words in the movie so don’t watch this with your kids, but really hilarious. Then the pool scene where (Jay) who plays Kirk his brother in the movie invited her into the pool and he said, “underwear would be fine,” and she said, “well if I was wearing any.” Just funny, so funny. Kirk’s entire family couldn’t believe he had such a gorgeous girlfriend, they kinda put him down which was not good, but I guess that happens often among families and guy friends.
The other scene that was really funny was when her parents came home and he was on the sofa, he can’t get up because he had an accident to say it mildly. I laughed so hard, oh, my, gosh! Then when Kirk got his friend to shave him, that scene was too hilarious. Question: “Why do great looking guys put themselves down or rate themselves?” Like the guys in the movie rate themselves a five or a seven or whatever. Then again, guys apparently rate girls too and when they do they end up losing a great girl because they rate them some sort of number on a scale of 1-10, without knowing the girl completely. “What message does the movie send to guys?” That they could pass up really great relationships if they keep putting themselves down, with low self-esteem. Rating yourself a 5 or 7 won’t get them the woman of their dreams. Listen, for some guys to one girl they are a 5 and to another girl the same guy who is a 5 in her eyes, he’s a 10+, it all depends on the woman. Do I rate guys? No, usually it just comes down to “Chemistry, as well as the, Intellectual and Emotional Connection”. What the heck am I talking about anyway?” What guys do I rate? I was married for such a long time, I don’t know what guys I am talking about, oh, my, gosh! Laughing at myself again, please! What I meant to say is in the past so many years ago when I was single, those would have been the three main criteria’s that I would have followed. Going into the future that criteria would continue. Anyway, without these three ingredients “Chemistry, Intellectual and Emotional Connection” no relationship is viable. Actually, I did forget one important criteria and that is “Spiritual Connection.” That too is also important for relationships.
Overall, a great feel good movie to watch. I love, love, Jay Baruchel in the movie I think he was great the way he pulled off the whole “just been the average, normal guy” kinda thing, just been himself that was pretty good. That’s how guys should be, just be themselves when with a girl, don’t try too hard, just relax and go with the flow. I can’t stop laughing even today, everytime I watch the movie trailer, this movie is hilarious.
Enjoy the Movie!

I love Jessie J’s attitude to life, she knows anything could happen to her at anytime so she lives life with abandon, with fearless energy. People think she’s too over the top but that’s because she knows how precious life is. I know how she feels, I have had some close calls and that’s why my attitude to life is to live life fully embrace what life has to offer everyday because life is indeed precious.
